Land and water area come from the U.S. Census Bureau TIGER/Line county-subdivision file for Allen County, Indiana. The square-mile figures divide the Census land area, in square meters, by 2,589,988.11. The twenty townships sum to 657.15 square miles of land.

Population figures are the 2020 Census counts for those civil townships. They sum to the county population of 385,410. Populations of Harlan and Hoagland, which are not civil townships, are the 2020 counts for those census designated places.

City and town overlap is computed in the browser from the same polygons, by intersecting each incorporated-place boundary with the selected townships. It is a geometric area, not a population estimate of the people inside the overlap.

This record does not say that a district has been enacted, that a petition has been filed, or that any public body has adopted the boundary. It says what the townships measure, and it holds the draft language that uses that measurement.
